It's Been A Week

What a week!  I can't believe it has already been seven days since Ariana came into this world.  Time has flown and it feels like it has been all one really really long day.  Probably because sleeping is not something that has been coming easy to me.  Luckily, I have been now getting about 6 hrs of sleep in 24 hrs.

Well, I thought I would share some of our own pictures we have taken so far.  We have already taken 90 pictures, but I won't make you see them all, lol.  Here are some of my favorites.

BIRTH

7 lbs 13 oz and 19 inches

We almost had an emergency C-section so Jordan had to get all suited up for the OR room which we spent 4 hrs of the 21.8 hrs of labor and 1 hr and 10 min delivery.  I hope no one will ever have to sit on that slab table that long.  I thought Jordan looked pretty cool in the outfit though.

The first time I get to hold Ariana.  She was so alert and beautiful.  I must say we have the best looking baby!

Needless to say, we feel extremely blessed that Ariana was able to get here safely even though there were some complications.  She is just so amazing and beautiful!

 I just think this is an adorable outfit.  Bows  are my favorite!!!

Now we are home and I'll tell you, we are definitely exhausted and little Ariana awake and alert more than ever!  Luckily each day seems to get a little better with little adjustments here and there to adjust to this new little one coming into our home.  We are so inexpressibly happy, we by far think she is the most adorable baby in the world!  We love her so much!

Thank you all for your love and prayers, we certainly can feel them in this time of enormous change.  We love you all!!

Hey Everyone!!

Walk A Mile in Her Shoes

So Jordan has been volunteering as a rape crisis response volunteer where he is given a phone for 48 hrs and if someone needs help he is there asap to give them information of the process of what the hospital and legal procedures are for these very unfortunate circumstances.  He had to go through several hours of training to be able to do this and I am glad that my husband is so eager to help those who are in need.  I was actually amazed to find out that rape is the only violent crime in Utah County which is above the national average! 

Once a year, this rape crisis team gets together and does a mile walk where the men where outrageous high hills!  I wouldn't even try to walk in some of those high heels.  Here are some of the pictures from the event to help gain awareness in the community. Now a close-up of Jordan's shoes...aren't they so pretty.  I can't believe they make these shoes in size 12.  I'll be honest I have never worn a hill that thin in my life, I don't even know how he was able to balance himself! 

38 Weeks Picture

Hello Everyone!

So here is a picture that was taken when I was 38 wks along.  Now I am 39 wks with only 7 more days to go!  I can't believe how fast it has gone.  Jordan and I are both extremely excited.  Everything is going exceptionally well with the pregnancy and now we are just waiting for her.  I must say I have enjoyed being pregnant, even with all it's discomforts, it's just a new experience having a little being inside you moving around.  Of course, I can't wait to finally see her though and finally be able to bend over again, lol.
