So Jordan has been volunteering as a rape crisis response volunteer where he is given a phone for 48 hrs and if someone needs help he is there asap to give them information of the process of what the hospital and legal procedures are for these very unfortunate circumstances. He had to go through several hours of training to be able to do this and I am glad that my husband is so eager to help those who are in need. I was actually amazed to find out that rape is the only violent crime in Utah County which is above the national average!
Once a year, this rape crisis team gets together and does a mile walk where the men where outrageous high hills! I wouldn't even try to walk in some of those high heels. Here are some of the pictures from the event to help gain awareness in the community. You can find the story in the Daily Herald Newspaper, check it out, they even have a picture of Jordan walking, at http://heraldextra.com/news/local/article_5d6280ed-70a3-5707-ae9a-89482a90a6f8.html

Let me remind you these are all boys .... don't you love the red toe nails!

There's Jordan upfront and center of one of the groups
And here he is after the mile walk! Gosh his feet must be sore!!
Now a close-up of Jordan's shoes...aren't they so pretty. I can't believe they make these shoes in size 12. I'll be honest I have never worn a hill that thin in my life, I don't even know how he was able to balance himself!
